Deputy Minister of Georgia meets with German health experts to strengthen cooperation in healthcare
During a meeting between Tamar Gabunia, the Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia, and German health experts and oncologists, the focus was on strengthening relationships and cooperation between Georgia and Germany in the healthcare sector. The German experts discussed the prospects of cooperation between Tbilisi State Medical University and Berlin University, which will enable Georgian youth to receive education in German medical facilities, thereby improving the quality of medical services in the country and empowering the younger generation. The meeting also saw discussions on the successful implementation of the State C Hepatitis Program in Georgia. The attendees included coordinators of Georgia National Tuberculosis Program, Professor Zaza Avaliani, Professor of Berlin Charité University, Helmut Hahn, and other members of the delegation.
